Central Controller

Autonomous perception, autonomous decision-making, and autonomous execution — giving home appliances a true “brain.”

Overview

The central controller is the local execution and decision-making core of every NiceInnov smart product, equipped with an industrial-grade high-performance microprocessor (MCU/CPU).Unlike traditional home appliances that mainly rely on mechanical switches and fixed logic, our controller integrates three core capabilities: environmental perception fusion, intelligent strategy judgment, and hardware drive scheduling. It reads data from various sensors in real time, completes complex logical operations locally, and directly sends commands to actuators such as motors, lights, and screens. The entire process requires no cloud intervention, enabling true “autonomous intelligence.”All local decision-making logic runs on the lightweight inference framework of NiceOS.

Core Advantages

01

Multi-source information fusion and autonomous decision-making

Multi-source information fusion and autonomous decision-making

The controller simultaneously processes multiple types of sensor data, including radar, temperature and humidity, laser dust detection, and touch input. Through built-in decision trees or lightweight AI models, it autonomously identifies the current scenario and selects the optimal control strategy. For example: “person detected and air quality is poor → automatically power on and switch to high speed.”

02

Real-time parallel multi-task processing

Real-time parallel multi-task processing

Multiple control loops, such as motor speed regulation, lighting color adjustment, and sensor polling, run independently and in parallel without interfering with one another, ensuring synchronized execution of linked commands with no backlog or delay.

03

Rich expandable I/O and universal interfaces

Rich expandable I/O and universal interfaces

Built‑in watchdog, voltage, and temperature monitoring ensures automatic protection under abnormal operating conditions.

04

Hardware-level safety and fault recovery

Hardware-level safety and fault recovery

With a built-in independent watchdog, voltage monitoring, and temperature protection circuits, the system can automatically reset or reduce load when abnormalities occur, preventing crashes or hardware damage.

05

Continuous evolution through remote OTA updates

Continuous evolution through remote OTA updates

The controller supports online firmware upgrades, allowing new features, algorithm optimizations, and security patches to be pushed remotely, keeping devices continuously updated and improved.

Typical Use Cases

Main control board for air purifiers

It manages the logic of the entire device, including motor speed regulation, light strip control, button/touch response, radar-sensing linkage, Wi-Fi communication, and the scheduling of all related subsystems.

Control core for pet feeders

It manages the food dispensing motor, weighing sensors, camera triggers, screen display, and remote commands, ensuring accurate scheduled and portion-controlled feeding.

Whole-home smart central gateway

As the local control hub of the home, it coordinates the operation of multiple sub-devices and can still execute preset automation rules even when the network is disconnected.

Ecosystem Collaboration Logic

The controller directly drives execution units such as motors, lights, and displays at the lower layer. At the upper layer, it interacts with edge nodes and the AIoT platform through high-speed communication links, synchronizing operation logs and status data.NiceOS runs on top of the controller, centrally managing all hardware resources and task scheduling to form a complete closed loop.
